Greetings and welcome to OTCO’s online registration system. This system will allow you to view all currently scheduled OTCO courses in a variety of formats. Using this system, you will be able to register for our events and pay for them securely using your credit card.
At the top of the screen you will see seven tabs. Each will take you to a distinct area of the site. An explanation of each tab follows:
Home: This tab will return you to this page from anywhere in our registration system. Note that this is the homepage for the registration system and not the OTCO or Ohiowater main page.
Course by Category: This section of the website allows you to view all currently listed and active courses by their overall category. Simply click on the link for the category of classes you wish to view (i.e. Water, Wastewater, Technology) and a listing will be displayed.
Course Listings: This area displays all courses at once in the order that they were created by OTCO. Although this is helpful if you want to see all possible offerings, it might be easier to use the “Course by Category” or the “Course Calendar” tabs when looking for specific classes/events.
Course Calendar: The calendar gives you yet another way to view the courses and events that OTCO has scheduled. These courses are listed by date, and clicking the link will take you directly to the course’s details.
My Schedule: Once you have successfully registered for a course through this system, you will be able to see your schedule here. Please note that if you registered for an event in any other way (fax, phone, snailmail, etc) it will not be displayed here.
Login: In order to fully use this system, you must login using your OTCO student ID and assigned password. Logging in is required to see your schedule, but is not necessarily required to register for an event.
Once you are logged in you should see your name (or login ID if different) in the upper left corner. If this information is wrong, there is a chance that you will not be registered properly or registered under another person’s ID. This should not be an issue if you are the only user of your PC. It can be a serious issue if multiple users are on the same PC. IT IS IMPORTANT YOU CONFIRM THIS INFORMATION IS CORRECT. If you do not have an OTCO student ID or have forgotten your password, please contact us at the OTCO main office at 614-268-6826.
Logout: Use this tab to change student ID’s or remove yours as being the active account. This will remove the issue of multiple users on a PC or another person using your account to register.
Registering For A Course
Regardless of the method found (list, category, calendar), there will be a link for each courses’ details. Location, times, and documents (among other things) will be listed under this link. At the bottom of each detail page is a “Register” link. Clicking on this will take you to a Registration Form for that event. Entering your OTCO student ID and password at the bottom of the page does not log you into the system (which is necessary for viewing your schedule).
Once registered, you will see a confirmation page and should receive a confirmation by email. On this page will also be payment options. If you do not choose a method of payment your registration can not be accepted. Further details are given on each respective page.
